Maxine Cuffe, Vice President & Director of Global Strategies at The Haverford Trust Company, will deliver a comprehensive analysis of the current economic landscape and her forecast for 2026. Maxine has over 20 years of investment research experience across multiple asset classes and regions. As Director of Global Strategies at Haverford, she leads the Global Strategy Committee, oversees the Manager Research team, and conducts fundamental equity research to guide strategic asset allocation and client portfolios.
Legal Update with Michael G. Trachtman
Michael G. Trachtman, Partner at Wisler Pearlstine LLP and MEA General Counsel, will provide an update on the latest developments in employment law and their implications for employers. Mike brings over 40 years of experience advising businesses on employment law, contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate strategy. He serves as outside general counsel for numerous companies, including the MidAtlantic Employers’ Association, and is a published author and frequent speaker on the intersection of law and business.

The EAA 2025-26 National Business Trends Report contains results of a survey representing over 1,000 mid-sized employers both in the region and nationally. The survey reflects actual and projected business trends, including organizational challenges, staffing/hiring, retention, and pay strategies. This year includes questions regarding tariffs, remote and hybrid work measures, and A.I. technology.
